Now let me see... the first character is "ima", meaning now, and the third one is "re"... I think. (My hiragana is rusty.) Got no clue on the middle symbol of Big Red's statement.

Japanesey is easy peasy. Grammatically speaking. Kana can be learned in a week. Kanji are also easy to read when you learn that they're all made up of the same basic parts. Writing them just takes practice. English and Chinese are the only REALLY hard mainstream languages. English is the worst European language since its grammar and vocabulary is pieced together from every other European language.
