Come to think of it a 6'3" guy riding a bike designed for a 5'2" (on average) woman would be like driving a clown car... the seats on mamachari aren't designed to go high enough for a proper riding posture with a Japanese-sized rider, much less a guy his size. The Japanese learn as children to set their seats low enough to place their feet on the ground instead of high enough to allow proper leg extension for safety reasons, even though this reduces efficiency and is bad for the knees. This drives me nuts as a cyclist. If you want to put your feet on the ground, get off the saddle!

love the fist-waving lady in the first panel! She's like "SLOW DOWN!"

In some of the manga's I've read I've seen two or three people on one bike...now I understand how it's possible :)

I've seen it done by school children, 2 or 3 at a time. Yes, it's possibly, but dangerous!

the guys in elementary school used to ride three to a bike around parking lots and stuff. but they put one on a bar on the back wheel, one sitting in the handles, and the poor sap peddling/steering.

Does anyone else notice that the lady in the first panel is creepy staring lady from earlier in the comic?

@Eve I was hoping someone would notice that's staring lady waving her fist at the boys. Glad you did!
