Here you go, the 100th FC&S comic strip! I really had fun drawing this latest Black Samurai episode. This must mean that I've been doing this for about a year now. :) Hope you've been enjoying and thanks for reading!

I'm absolutely loving this comic. Although I've never been there, I do love Japanese culture and study it whenever I can. This comic has been great to read because I'm remembering learning all the little details showing up, and how it felt figuring out the ways the two cultures differ. This makes me want to visit the country even more!

I'm really liking the Black Samurai pages with the tinted "paper"--gives it a nice character. Also, integrating them into his "real life" is a nice touch--very Calvin and Hobbes-ish.
Forty kids in a class is a lot, but it helps if the students really want to learn. I remember some of my college classes having just a ton of people in them, much more than forty.
