Most Japanese there speak English really silly...I think it's hard for them

Ha! Love the proud expression on that businessman! I don't even know how many times random adults, who are probably perfectly proper and mature in Japanese, decided to try out their latest English on me. (But to be fair, I probably did the same while studying Japanese in the states.)

LOL, That was Funny! I can picture the japanese fellow (In a very excited tone) saying "I am fine too!" with a very proud voice!

Then.... Akwardness sets in because the moment is soon over.

I know someone who teaches English over there, and everywhere she goes, people try to practice on her. Of course, they're always shocked when she speaks to them in Japanese. One even told her that they didn't think foreigners could learn Japanese.

I just found your comic, and I'm adding it to my favorites right now. I'm teaching English in China myself. Ironically, the ads I'm seeing on the side of the page are for studying English in England. Heh heh.

Being european but no English native speaker, I always found it especcially funny, everyone in Japan assumed I was American and tried their "English" on me. But I guess folks from Eastern Asia face the same situation in the E.U./U.S. Great comic btw.

Totally had this happen last summer in Japan....

Except all he wanted to talk about was World War II :/ Awkwarddd.

My sister said next time we should just say we don't speak English and start blathering in French.
