Ahh Book Off. I spent a fortune on manga in there - fantastic for Japanese study - not so good on the wallet when you have to send it home...

Half-price manga in good condition could easily make someone grow a third arm in order to get there faster.

In Tokyo every Book Off you go to is full of people reading the manga for free... it annoys people like me who actually came there to buy the manga.

In big cities you can find mom-and-pop used manga stores which have much better prices on older series than Book Off. Like, under 100 yen per volume.
