Glad you guys are enjoying Karl's caffeine high. It's been fun to draw!

Hope you're reading the comic commentary I've been adding right next to this section. I know most webcomic artists do this but I'm trying it out. Do you think it adds to each strip?

Thanks for reading!

I recall the first time I had REALLY strong coffee: I felt like I could run around the walls without touching the ground. Karl's facial expressions are perfect. They're cracking me up just thinking about them.

I LOVE the commentary, and the reader comments, Khalid! Your comments usually go more in depth than most comic artists I read, which I think is necessary because of the nature of your comic- sometimes it requires a little more explanation. I also love hearing from you about which parts of the comic were real experiences!

Also, I've been reading for some time now but this is my first post. I studied abroad in Japan years ago and I just want to say I love reading your comic because it brings back lots of memories, but it also brings a new perspective to the whole experience. Thank you!

haha.
can I have some of that coffee?
mine definitely does not amount to that.
Man, I don't think I ever drank enough copy to be that energetic with my JTEs. I did carry a lot of books for them, though.
