Oh come on, Karl, give it a try! Lots of guys read shoujo manga!

Then again, who am I to talk? I practically devour the boy's manga and only read the girl's when very particular moods strike me.

I have that exact reaction to shoujo manga, and I'm a girl! Though I also have a male friend that practically lives and breathes it, so it even out. XD

I am imagining that tendency of some dudes to react in an overly macho fashion to anything that might reflect negatively on their masculinity. Like if a dude expresses a liking for a sappy romantic comedy, or knows the lyrics to a Broadway musical tune. Then, in true sitcom fashion, he looks startled, makes "Grrr!" sounds and starts talking about beer or football.

whoa i don't know what shoujo is until I read the ending of this page for this week. I'm so sad that it stop here but hopefully more to come. It's been a while that I read this manga and I was so sad that I could not find the website ever again. Now here I am!
