i find it completly awsome how on the last strip eveyone was saying she and him are going to be a thing then you the creator pull this up saying NO *&^king WAY its things like this that make me come back to the strip almost daly

So, exactly how fictional are these characters? Are they based on real people and is the strip based on actual events? Or is it just inspired? Because if they are fictional, I hope Karl and Miki get together eventually. :)

@Brian It's a little bit of truth mixed with fiction. I want to give the characters a chance to grow into their own over time while still reflecting on my actual experiences.

Unless, this is a plot twist, and she's laughing like that because of the cultural implications that would be heaped upon her, however, perhaps she has a little bit of unknown affection for our intrepid hero.
