本当だ。So true. 2nd day in Japan, where did my group want to eat? Denny's XD. They do have a smashing good Ramen bowl though. I can't wait for the inevitable comics about Makku. :) Just so you know Khalid, these comics make me and my wife, having both lived in Japan, laugh.

I haven't gotten the pleasure of going there yet, but I have friends who've taught English over there, and even something remotely familiar like Denny's has, uh, interesting food choices (or so I'm told). As long as it doesn't have mayo (I'm allergic), I'm all set!

Don't forget the good ol' KFC!

Hey, I just noticed that the "Yokoso" strip is missing in the archives, and the "previous" button does nothing. Just letting you know!

I went to Tokyo a couple years ago with friends as well. There was no limit to my disappointment when they suggested we eat at McDonald's when there was an actual restaurant across the street. Later we found out that Japanese 7-11s do not have taquitos. It truly was another world.

I love your new comic strip! My daughter and her boyfriend are going to Japan this summer to visit friends who are teaching there. Are you going to be a dad soon?!

I think Karl needs to trim his beard a bit. He's starting to look prickly--LOL.
